Hi, I'm Natakorn, a physicist from Thailand.

I am Dr. Natakorn Sapermsap, also known as Yok, currently serving as a postdoctoral researcher at the Quantum Laboratory (QLAB) at Suranaree University. My primary focus at QLAB involves the development of time-resolved fluorescence measurement techniques.

My academic journey began in 2011 when I was awarded a full scholarship from the Development and Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Project (DPST). This scholarship has been instrumental in supporting my educational pursuits, spanning from my B.Sc. to M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies.

During my undergraduate years, I delved into the realm of microcantilever detection systems, specifically focusing on the electronics aspect. Notably, I designed and implemented a controller for a quadrant photodiode to detect the resonance frequency of the microcantilever.

Transitioning to the field of nanotechnology during my M.Sc. studies, I successfully synthesized a mRNA nanoprobe tailored for detecting the overexpressed c-Myc gene—a pivotal factor linked to tumor generation.

My Ph.D. journey led me to the vibrant field of fluorescence with a specific focus on the Fluorescence Lifetime-Activated Cell Screening (FLACS) platform. This research was conducted at the Photophysics Group, Department of Physics, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom. Due to confidentiality constraints, I am limited in providing intricate details about my Ph.D. project, but I am always open to discussing any challenges or topics related to the utilization of fluorescence, especially fluorescence lifetime applications.

Feel free to connect with me if you have any questions or if you would like to engage in discussions related to my areas of expertise!
